About Mussa

Mussa Uwitonze is a visual storyteller based in Kigali, Rwanda. Creating images of people living in a quickly developing world, his photographs invite viewers to see the diversity of people’s lives.

Mussa's skills range from documentary photography and photo-journalism to production and film translating. His portfolio lays a foundation of variety and expertise ready for you to build your ideas on.

Confident working as an individual and in a team he’s capable of large scale international NGO and media briefs as well as smaller charity and local press jobs.

Today, Mussa works with several NGOs based in Rwanda. Documenting their work with storyboarding concepts and collecting content in the field to delivering edited final images.

Mussa is also a contributor for the Taking Pictures, Changing Lives Foundation. A team of photographers, filmmakers and writers helping charities fundraise, raise awareness and deliver real change.

Currently based in Kigali, Rwanda, Mussa is available for national and international travel assignments.
